Us too! Ours are 7,6 and 3 and normally are asleep by7. Okay they will stay up later when we are away, but they just wouldn't appreciate the night show yet.

We are going 17th -28th August and staying at http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=5283  Camping La Courte Vallee, near Airvault. Recommended by Allengeanealogy and Stu at Le Chant. We wanted to be a bit nearer the coast than Le Chant. Is that where you are going?

Is it possible to just turn up at Futuroscope pay & get in? We'll be down in the region from 8-15th August.

I realise that it would be cheaper to use Tesco Clubcard Points, but to do this I would have to book in advance & I wouldn't want to go if the weather was too poor or too hot......can't please some people, eh?

I looked on the Tesco Deals website and it doesn`t say anything about booking in advance, just a day pass. When I got a day pass via Tesco for Legoland it wasn`t dated and I just turned up on the day and exchanged the voucher at the gate.....I was sort of assuming that this was the same for Futuroscope. Or am I wrong?

We went to the Futuroscope last year ... the musical fountains are good, as are some little fountains we found to play in, also a thing where you pedal huge trikes through water. I liked the gyrotour, where you go up in an observation tower & can see for miles. Dances with Robots looked brilliant but there was a queue and we didn't have time. We all liked Dynamic Vienne, but it might be a bit much for the more delicate sort of 5 year old, as you get the impression you're flying through the air. They had a thing last year where they showed you how animals "worked", with giant models made with engineering parts. The fly's eye was a CCTV of course and you could see how things looked to a fly etc etc

I think they've got 5 Imaxes (well, a lot) and if I went again I'd try and do all of them. Tickes were expensive (no Tesco deal when we went) and I think that's the best way of getting your moneys worth. Though probably not with little kids.

Going to the Puy du Fou this year after all we've read on here.
