Trust me the French wine is not OK to drink.

In May I attended France for a weeks relaxation and holiday. Having sat outside my Motorhome for a while my wife and I attempted to drink some Red wine. Following several glasses of the said wine, my vision was severly impaired, I then found that I was unable to talk in a way that was normally understandable, I next came dizzy and unable to walk in a straight line. This was followed by a thumping headache for the whole next morning meaning I needed to lay down and groan for a long period.

So I personaly won't be touching the French wine again

Is French Wine safe to drink?

Yes, if you follow these safety precautions first -

• make sure you have the relevant safety equipment (sturdy/comfortable chair not too high from ground in case of falls)
• use a good quality corkscrew to prevent possible 'corking' accidents
• remember the location of toilets/buckets in case of overdose
• it helps to line the stomach first with a well cooked fillet steak or similar, preferably with buttery mushrooms and a nice pepper sauce.

What you are actually saying is we the Brits who think who think we are so in love with all things French that we are actually more French than the French themselves--look down our noses at any Brit who just wants the go on holiday to France--for the sunshine & the beaches but cant actually be arsed to fall in love with the French way of life & all things French----if you actually knew & spoke to normal working class French people you may find that France aint that good to actually live in--especially if you are unemployed---or in a low paid job--
