There was no privacy on pitches near us unless you are prepared to hem yourself in with windbreaks... I prefer natural hedging and some space.

I know that feeling. This is our so called Super Pitch at La Rive. My wife is actually sat on the road. She had to move for the neighbours if they wanted to go out.
I had to pitch the van about a foot away from the trees in front of the static so I could park the car on the pitch.
This was booked through the caravan club as a Super Pitch with mains water and drains. It had neither.
