If you think about being turned away from sites then you would not buy one at all because in this country many sites will not take a twin axle van.  So it does not matter where you are you run the risk of being tunred away for having a twin axle or charged extra.  Does not bother us we will just find another site.

We have not had a problem with our twin axle in France or here, we do check that the sites can handle a twin axle when we ask about the site, I would not consider it a problem.

We always use one municiple site in France at Caen as it is so close to the port, it does have a sign up about twin axles but we have never been refused.

We will be staying there again this year.
