Thanks for the Speedferries info!

Only £88 for July - August sailing at decent sailing times! It was well over £300 with other firms!!!

Competion is good- P&O dov/cal are now only £92 period return in 2005 & you can travel lunchtime--last summer we paid £120 & had to travel at midnight--

We tried P&O, it was over £200.

We were wondering if we should wait to see if any deals are being done, but it's not worth the risk.

We've booked the site direct - it's in Sites abroad and Camping Cheque - but we've hit on not booking through them. Though Camping Cheques are a good idea if you can travel out of season.

Have just done another trip with Speedferries - was a bit worried about how they were going to load and unload the trailers as they seemed to have a problem with just the cars, turning circles are very tight. They only way I could see for them to do it was only loading them on the lower deck. All those booked with Speedferries will no doubt find out next year. By way recommend that you take your own coffee as the coffee they serve is really dire.
