Hi Tiger-Lily.
We got the official Tag from SANEF TelePeage (mini badge libert-t) it worked a treat for our hol to the Aedeche back in July, the cost of the Tag was 30Euro, a one of payment for life, which we have split with friends and family, who can also use it, SANEF have sent me additional window mounts for other vehicles and only charged me 2Euro postage for those, the only additional charge is 2Euro for every callendar month the Tag is on the system, wish we had got one years ago, absolutley no ques at the Tolls for us anymore lol. of course the added bonus is that even though we went on the Autoroutes at the end of June, I don't have to pay for the Tolls until September!, due to how the billing is applied to me credit card, happy days.

Hi Francais, thanks for the tip, I did look up SANEF but I'm sorry to say my French is poor and didn't get vey far (my Spanish is far better). Does look like a much more pratical and cost effective option so I will try it for my next trip.

Thanks

TigerLily

Remember that the tag barriers have a height limit, so no roof mounted bikes or caravans.

Hi Sproz.
Your correct about the height limit, as that is 2m, maybe you could just scrape under with a roofbox and fully laden car, also for TigerLily don't worry about the SANEF web-site is easy to fathom, my French is useless, although I have certificates that say otherwise lol, they give you an online password etc once you have set things up, which is handy for checking usage and printing of bills, although they do send a hard copy in the post, for each month that you have been on the system, you just need to choose the best credit card for the job, to keep those commision charges and exchange rates to a minimum, I have found "Capital One" to be very good, no commision charge and decent exchange rate, in fact I set up a credit card specificly for my Toll road usage, which means paying it of in full every month is a breeze, so no interest charges to worry about either.
