Yep we used the Dieppe-Newhaven route this year and for the convenience in avoiding the trawl from and particularly back to Calais it really is a good option. Its not much more dosh compared to Dover routes, esp adding in the fuel saving. The ship was lovely and very relaxing. The only curious thing was it took an age to get on land once we had docked. We waited ages in the car. We'll be using Le Havre next summer as were planning Loire and the west coast.
