We have just paid 59 euro at the vets in Aubenas for two labradors including the wormer & flea treatment. We paid nearly that for 1 two years ago in St Jean de Monts

We've just landed back today and we paid 120 Euros for our 3 boxers to have the treatment on Thursday at a vet in Montendre, south west France. Everything went smooth at Dunkerque but the vet did ask for the lab test result paper for the blood test. I didn't have all 3, as it states on the passport that the blood test result was ok so I'm not sure why he wanted them. I think that works out at 40 Euros per dog including treatment and he gave them a good health check too

 Use google to find pages jaunes - the french yellow pages - then look for veterinaire in the area you're going to. you'll get a list with phone numbers and maps. If your French is up to it you can then phone them and ask the cost. The vet in rue charged us 24€ in July though we took our own products with us.

we have been taking our dogs abroad for ten years now, since the start of the original ¨pet passport¨ scheme.

We always get the treatments done one day's travel from the port.
