I agree that food is better in France. I love the fact that fruit tends to be ripe and ready to eat.

I take squash, tea etc. I tend to stock up on cartons of juice and squash to have with picnics and in the car but purely to take advantage of BOGOF offers you see in the UK and to spread the cost. I also take a half used bottle of washing up liquid & shampoo etc. So that I'm not in the position of buying new and then needing to make space and leaving a half bottle behind.

Squash, tea bags, ketchup, brown sauce (for my scrambled eggs), baked beans, packet pasta and rice - and that's about it!

I love french food - pastries, fresh bread, fresh, fresh, fresh..... I love the whole experience!!
