I've never found the Ferry Price Comparison websites much good at finding cheap deals, either, particularly if you have a caravan. I think it's a much better bet to check with the Caravan Club, or the Camping and Caravanning Club, if you're a member, then with organisations specialising in camping holidays such as Camping Cheques, and also with the ferry companies themselves.
For about twelve years we booked through the Caravan Club, or with Camping Cheques, and for the last couple of years directly with Norfolk Lines, using their promotional codes, which are available at the time of the caravan shows and almost always shared on here as quickly as they appear.
I would never rely on 'Cheap Ferry Deals Direct' or similar without checking elsewhere for exactly the same dates/times/facilities.
