we very nearly booked L'Ardechois for this coming August but I just couldnt bring myself to pay the site fees and we want to try and save some money with the expensive Cuba holiday this June. Sine booking elsewhere I've read a really positive review for the site from someone like us with a motorhome so will bite the bullet and book for 2012. My days of faffing and changing plans are over, my current situation has made me see constantly changing our plans was causing me too much stress and just go with your first instinct then move on.

I'm sure you'll have a great time Fiona, the area is stunning.

L'Ardechois is looking like our first choice for 2012 too. :-)

Hi Fiona.
If you want to keep an eye on the weather down in the Ardeche, check out ardeche360.com

It is a live web-cam sited at the main town of Aubenas, and gives real time less an hour or so of the area.

Andy.

Hi Rhonda, hope you are ok I saw a message you wrote a few days ago and was going to facebook you to see how you are xx Cuba will be fabulous!!  I think we don't consider the actual site costs as really expensive because we normally go to the huge commercial sites so are used to paying through the nose for a patch of grass, so 500 & something euros for a large pitch with elec, water and drainage for 11 nights doesn't seem so bad, plus OHs free fuel in the UK helps keep the travelling costs down.  I just don't like paying someone 40 euros to assign me a pitch.  Thank you for that link Andy I shall be checking it out!!

We took our 4 kids to the hairbo museum enormous queues nearly an hour to get in bring water. We had a great day and like everyone else we bought as much sweets as we could carry. Have a great hol.
