they are fab and not a faff at all

as mentioned it takes approx  20 - 30 mins to get it all done and you save money over buying day passes

blackout dates here : http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/annual-passport-blockouts/

Another vote for the annual pass, was cheaper for us than 3-day tickets, plus the free parking means that if you have a motorhome or campervan you can even stay on site for free.  Admittedly it is on tarmac but there are toilets and showers provided.

Getting the passes was no hassle at all, pay at the standard ticket office then exchange the day tickets for passes at the office (just to the right of the castle). You must take your passports with you for identification otherwise you can't do it though so don't forget.

10% off food and shop purchases too.

"The voucher is valid for six months from date of purchase and your 12 months pass starts the day you exchange."

We are going next July and had originaly only planned to go for 2 days but on looking at this it may change my mind.  There are 2 adults and 2 children aged 8 & 6 at the time.

Is it therefore possible for us to buy via this link or do you need to attend DLP within the 6 months to get the tickets validated?  If so is it normal to get an under 7 free when you buy an adult annual pass?

I have also read on 'The Dibb' that if you buy 5 Annual Passes (for 5 members of the same family living at the same address) that you get a 20% discount?

Is this right? That would mean an annual pass for all 5 of us would be £360 (using an exchange rate of 1.10€ to the £), whereas a 4 day ticket for us all would cost £590!

Seems too good to be true.

Hi CaddyClan , was wondering if you had found out any more on this? From reading the DLRP site it looks as if the 20% family discount only applies to the Fantasy and Dream tickets. Hopefully I've misread this as there are 5 of us too and this would be a great saving. thanks, Sean

We purchased our tickets from http://www.ce-multiavantages.com and i have just checked the website. They have an offer on until November 20th 2011 - Dream €149 and Fantasy €119 .

For each paying adult you can get a child pass for under 7's only free.

It will cost €20 for a year's membership however for € 169 we got 1 adult & 1 child dream pass for the year saving €229 and they send the ticket in a PDF format which my wife and daughter took along to the annual passport office and exchanged for the the photo cards.

When we went to DLP in August there were loads of people in the line exchanging PDF vouchers for day tickets as well from the same site.

The voucher is valid for six months from date of purchase and your 12 months pass starts the day you exchange.

Hope this helps - It's worth keeping an eye on the site if your plans are for next year !

Hi JNMPIN,

I have had a look at the site you recommend to purchase annual passes and as I don't read much french it really doesn't mean much to me, did you use a translation site to work out wht it says or are you good at french so you understand what it is telling you, any help appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Claire,

I used Google's page translation to navigate around the site.

Going at the end of August for a few days on the way back from the Dordogne thanks to Sky for the tickets.

Might get one passport as my wife always seems to make use of the 20% discount with the dream pass.

Please let me know if I can help with any other info

James

I too have just purchased Fanatsy passes from the website. We are having our 1st camping trip of the season at Easter nr Disney and was planning on getting 2 day passes each which actually worked out £2 more expensive than the Fantasy pass! Even with the 20 euro joining fee they still work out at a bargain as we can have extra days during this holiday and also the free parking will make a good cost saving.
I used Im translator for the web page and used it to translate my english into french for the email communication ( they needed extra info to be able to send the PDF tickets)as my french isnt that good! The whole process was complete within 24 hrs with the printable tickets landing in my email inbox.
Can't wait to go!!!
