I suppose the problem with these schemes is that they are likely to cause you to compromise on where you go as you tend to use the sites in the scheme rather than selecting the site which is best for you. We are thinking of Italy this year and if we don't use ACSI or CC we know we are likely to double the cost of anyother sites we use!

I was outbid on an ACSI book this morning on ebay, it went for £12.59 including postage. Decided not to bid higher as after Vals post I had a look on the acsi website. Am I write in thinking I have to sign up to buy the book every year to get it for the lower price? Vicarious books have it for £14 inc postage (thats just buying the book as a one off).

Have emailed Franbee in the hope I get the book for £10

With exchange rates as they are I think you can buy direct from ACSI in Holland for under £13.00. including postage
