I'm struggling to load the map with the pitch numbers. But...... Were on new pitch number 108 (used to be 164) all that side and the side that joins it without the opening in the hedge to get onto the field (if you know what I mean) is fab.I would even stay on the other side as well rather than the rest of the site as I love the it so much!!!! Try and avoid the pitches right next to the openings on the field. There are water raps all round the edges of the field., I can tell you what pitches there next to if it helps...when I can get the new numbers up!!!! There every other pitch on the 108 side, and 2 on each of the other sides.

Hi again.... ive managed to open the map with the new pitch numbers on (used proper pc instead of my phone!).

The comfort pitches you initially asked about..... I cant comment as I said before I havent looked at them closely as they always appears quite cramped in compared to la pointe... however what I can say is looking at the old map (which I have here at home) there were approx 12-14 pitches on the area where there are now only 10.

The field La Pointe.....  the only thing they have changed are the pitch numbers. The ones you want are along the top side and are probaby what I would describe as the quietest, although theres not much between them all really. The water points on La Pointe are ..... between 2 pitches in all cases so between........111/110, 108/107, 106/105, 104/103, 100/99, 96/95, 92/93, 87/88 .  Weve been lucky and havednt ever as yet used a water container!! Just use the tap as its on the edge of the pitch :)

there is a sandpit near to the shower block kind of in front of but far enough in front of not to be of a bother..... in front of pitches96/97.

There is a volleyball pitch in front of pitches 88 / 109 so that corner really... used about twice a week for an hour or so.

There are ehu on all pitches, and if you want they bring a fridge to you - what Id call an under counter size domestic style fridge. (you pay for it obviously)

We are on la pointe pitch 102 (I think) back left corner from mid August. Kids will be 8 & 10 when we go.

I was happy to let them go off to bouncy castle and play park alone when we were on the same pitch last summer. It's a lovely site esp last 2 weeks of August as it just gets emptier each day.

Hi there, sorry to hijack your post, but has anyone stayed on La Ruelle Haute field (pitch 30,  I think).  We're staying there in the summer and was wondering if it's as cramped looking as it looks on the map?

Many thanks.

we are on pitch 104 ,have to agree with smiledmb la pointe is the place to camp as the pitches are big, space for kids to play ,this is how camping should be but most sites tend to go for car park camping.

All booked. Got confirmation e-mail this afternoon. Have ended up on Les Coteaux cos only pitches left on La Pointe were corner ones, either very shady and a bit "squashed" in or right on the end of a row.

There's a play area quite near to our pitch and a nice view of the lake and animals too. We'll have bikes with us, so won't take long to get to the football pitch which is where the kids will want to spend most of their time I expect, or the pool of course!

Just hope the rain stays away and the sun shines! Getting excited now  !
