Still coming down then! I found a credit card receipt from last summer, paid 1.31€ for gazole in July, against 1.28ish this time. Both at popular supermarket gas stations. How come we don't have the same price as last summer ( or cheaper) in the UK??

Actually we do, the AA average for this month, supermarket unleaded is 130.9 ppl - June 2011 was 134.6. Diesel this month 136.3 - June 2011 137.8. Not alot but still slightly cheaper.

Anyone noticed the new feature on the French Government website, on the right hand side, where you can 'roll over the map' and see the cheapest fuel in that department, and the most expensive.  A very useful tool for avoiding an expensive mistake when filling up!  The cheapest today seems to be at Olivet in the Loiret!

Locally, unleaded is still available at my usual garage for 137.9, and diesel at 140.9

we have paid 1.26 euros in talmont st hillier in the Vendee this was at super u. the weather has not been to good.
