nickgill - I think you were a bit harsh on me - assuming that my dog wasnt covered. He actually does get his annual kennel cough vaccine but as Claire pointed out to you there are different types. The boarding kennels we used in Kent upon arrival in the UK insisted on seeing proof of the Kennel Cough vaccine - however, the Animal Centre at Disneyland only required to see proof of his rabies injection.
I believe we could not have done any more than we did to protect our precious pooch before and whilst on holiday.
He still has a mild cough, though is improving day by day. Thank you to all who have shared your concerns for him.
My vet did say that we could use childrens Benelyn and told me that dogs quite liked the apple flavour (!)
