South of Lyon tends to be the sunny spot but........  10 days means less of a drive so the med is probably too far - depends if you are one of these long haul types   Generally the Loire Valley can be sunny but these last few years it has been variable   You could try gien  Bois du Bardelet - ideal for families  they have an indoor area for youngsters and would be ideal for your kids.  there is an indoor and an outdoor pool  plus a lake (fishing too)   restaurant on site  and is only a few miles from Gien and the supermarket

My daughter worked there as a student and was treated properly - always good sign   The daughter has taken over from the mum and has targetted young families as her customer base   Give it a look over and see for yourself.  I am sure you will benefit from it
