We're counting down the days too, Wendy..... until you get back!!

We're looking at Dordogne for our French debut in September, (last minute weather forecast permitting) and it's currently odds on that it could well be Beynac itself.

Between you and my good friend Monsieur Mike, we are expecting a flood of fotos, a deluge of details, and a tempest of tempters, to really get us in the mood!

I don't mind admitting, we are getting rather excited by this "camping abroad" forum, but it's fair to say we are keeping a closer eye on you and Mike, for the coming weeks!!

Hope you have an absolutely wonderful time, and return in a mood joyous enough to share all on here.

Safe trip.

Oh, life's too short. Anyway. If you like footie, here's a laugh.

Oh right! Back on track now!!

And yes, I do like my footy, even to the point where the numbers in my username pay homage to my home club!

Good link!

And you, madam, are an absolute brick!
I'll even be interested in your journey/route, as we too plan to travel Sat/Sun, probably stopping in Orleans (Hotel) Sat night.

Bon Voyage, for the weekend.
Fingers crossed for the weather.

Ahh, DCFC. I'm not a fan, of any sport really, but I did like Cloughie.

Been watching the weather too, and hoping late July it will have picked up. A camper posted the other day and said it was hot but the river was high and muddy due to rains. I've friended Marja on FB and the other day she said it was 26C.

Roll on July 20th. When are you going Wendy?

Hi Mike. We sail on Saturday morning. Doing a stop over night and should get to Beynac around tea time Sunday. To be hones last year was too hot so a happy medium will be lovely. Typically they say temps might reach 90 degrees at home next week but that's too hot anyway.

Wendy

Have a good one Wendy
