We carry both ACSI and the Caravan Club's Europe guides. Depending on where we are at about 4pm, we will consult both and find a reasonably priced NH nearby. We try to aim for somewhere not too far off our route - motorway or RN, depending on which we are on. On the whole it doesn't matter too much what the site is like, although we usually like to eat out when on the move, so near a town or village is best. Municipals are often the best choice.
------------- Freedom is a light caravan and an open road.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
NH is 'Night Halt' - so described in the Caravan Club Europe site guide (usually in a review which says something like 'Fine for a Night Halt but wouldn't want to stay there for a fortnight').
definately take two stops, we dont book anywhere for journey down, weve been lucky and found some nice campsites via typing campsites into satnav and choosing one, ideally somewhere a little over halfway near moulins maybe then aim for millau as we love it there, that leaves an easy 2 hour drive to your destination
