Thinking we look very likely to be going away without ours then, will take a printout of the email just in case of problems.

I must admit, I wasn’t so bothered about it once I’d heard what OP were saying on this thread about how they had been in France for quite a while and barely saw any crit air stickers. I’ve posted a couple of threads the last few weeks because there’s been a few changes since we were last in France, and it seems to me that it’s only us Brits who try to abide by these new laws!!
Hi,
I am a bit confused about the requirements for getting a Crit Air disc. I can't find a list of the areas where they are compulsory, can anyone help? We are going to Southern Brittany on Friday next week, arriving at St Malo and coming back via Caen a couple of weeks later - are we likely to need a Crit air? Thanks in advance!

Never seen a Euro vehicle arriving in UK with headlight anti-dazzle stickers. Never heard of anyone in trouble for not having spare bulbs or warning triangles or reflective vests (or breath test kits even though there’s no penalty for that)
Not sure why we bother, but my sticker is in the post despite all the inconvenience of compressing the pic and difficulty entering registration date.
However I have received an official warning for only slowing down at a stop sign, on my bike when I had a clear view of the empty main road as I approached.

Oxter, I do hope you mean your motorbike and not a push bike?? 😉
Nope. A push bike going at all of 3/4 kph. Two officers of the law in a tiny village lurking in wait for me. My wife gave me no sympathy because she had stopped before continuing.
I am guessing it was a quiet day for criminal activity.

Didn't get one for our trip over the last couple of weeks, only found out our route was going to take us into Grenoble at the point where it was too late to order one. I must admit I was a bit concerned though as a lot of the autoroutes were running mandatory -10km/h speed limits due to pollution, but thankfully didn't get my collar felt. Not sure how many actually do in all reality.
