Reporting back to say that Eurotunnel has paid for the repairs for the damage to our car. It was their fault as a company, despite what people here may say, and that is confirmed by them readily coughing up.

I wasn't worried anyway as MGJo had already said that they had a similar problem and were reimbursed by Eurotunnel. Again, thanks for posting that reassuring info

That's brilliant it's sorted, on a couple of our trips we've come across the classic and sports car club trips, it's truly a sight to behold.
