Also masks must be worn in other "enclosed spaces" or a 135 euro fine

arthurdent If Track and Trace are only interested in people who have had contact for over 15 mins at less than 2m. Then that certainly suggests that one is very unlikely to get a dangerous dose of the virus from a casual encounter.
The virologists have consistently said that transmission out doors is very low.
Despite all of this, like others, we will always be careful.
I know people who are going to Benidorm, Majorca, Crete and Wetherspoons pubs, all more risky than a break on a campsite in France.
i have absolutely no problem in wearing a mask on the ferry, in a super market or in public areas of my campsite.
i would still rather take the risk of travelling to france than to try to stay on one of the many over subscribed campsites in the uk.
i have freinds who are right now enjoying desrted campsites in france whilst only yesterday i drove past a rammed camsite in newland, near malvern. caravans and tents everywhere. i have never seen the campsite so busy and its not even in a nice location. i drove through malvern yesterday over the hills to get to Eastnor and i have never seen so many people up there, parking at the side of the roads and on the verges.
i am looking to book a CAMC site for a short break before we go to france and from what i have seen so far most of the CAMC sites are already fully booked. is it better to stay on a crowded british campsite or to go to an deserted french site?
on many forums there are many who are proclaming they are staying in the uk this year and good luck to them. i hope to be one of a minority who will enjoy france this year. i am not retired and business right now is very difficult. its highly likly this will be my last holiday for a while.
i am travelling within the UK visiting customers trying to make a living, going to factories and universites, going to petrol stations. how can going camping in my own caravan, with my own shower and toilet be any more of a risk.
