Maybe too late but thought I would chip in.
Recently stayed a few nights at Fonclaire Holidays which is a small CL type campsite about 10 mins south of Bellac on the D675. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It has a nice new pool which we made great use of.
Excellent value at around 23 euros per night.
They are English owners. A very friendly family too. They were featured on Channel 4's "A New Life In the Sun". It was very interesting talking to them about it.

Thanks for your input. I saw that site and liked the look of it but by the time we've added an extra 4 euros per night for our 2 dogs, on top of the 23 euros, it makes it more than we're prepared to pay for an overnighter unfortunately.
