A lot of cars nowadays have very limited access to change bulbs, and thus the authorities recognise this. Some vehicles require a complete light replacement if something goes.
I have never, and I suspect I'm not alone, taken CRIS paperwork with me to France.
Have also never taken an MOT certificate, is it law?
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Spain requires the large oval uk badge still along with a couple of othe EU countries cant remember which ones offhand, also Spain is in the process of changing from warning triangles to having amber flashing beacons which also have a locater device to warn traffic controllers there is a breakdown.
Not sure if this applies to just motorways and whether its experimental or coming into force best advice always check for updates on the driving abroad government sites
I've never bothered taking a CRIS certificate, mainly because I never apply for one as it's a purely voluntary scheme, or any proof of ownership, never been asked for one, nor my MOT

Just curious as to why they wanted to see your MOT, and if the made head or tail of it.
