Thanks very much for that, I am using my own roaming data not wifi. Interesting though.
Although my neighbour tells me that he can’t buy a UK lottery ticket online here in France, but he can get UK TV

If you’re using a UK SIM card you don’t need a VPN , we used Popit mobile in Spain which is U.K. based and watched live TV every night

I think VPN is a crock. I tried using it TO Watch Footy in Australia to no avail and then tried to use it to watch UK netflix again to no avail. I was using my Laptop. So i ended up watching on my phone as i had Aussie Vodaphone
