What about Chateau des marais near to Chambord  ( www.chateau-des-marais.com)at a place called Muides sur Loire. Not so far from Orleans- looks nice we are having one night there on July 4th. Saying that there are quite a few biggish sites with all the amenities along the Loire- look on the Eurocamp web site for their names.

Why not look at the other Castels sites, or try the site search at the top of the page, good luck in your search, oh, what about les bois du bardalet in the loirre valley, we were there last year and it is a fine site.

hi all

reasons for maybe Loire area are mainly i gather the further south we go the better the weather - i am totally open for all suggestions but dont wish to rock the boat with my fellow travelling companions (family) who after maybe 5 -6 hours driving will start to rant ( are we there yet - how long now etc etc ) i gather all weather conditions can be expected around Brittany ? dont know much about champagne ardennes region ?

Yes, i'll reccomend berny riviere too, nice site isn't it lorna? great lake and the wee village is lovely.infact some of our friends are going this year.
