Are you using Red Pennant insurance Irene? As you say, covering ourselves, car and caravan for 6 months is a headache on its own! We are also thinking we may store our van in France at the end of the season....
We are stopping on the way down at La Touche, haven't booked yet as we arent exactly sure when the Christmas hangover will have subsided!! but it will be as soon as the family have cleared off and we have the house sorted out.
Work, unfortunately still takes up an enormous amount of time at present.
Looking forward to meeting some of you on our travels

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Hope so Irene! We plan to visit La Touche in the Spring too - and Twin Lakes in July/August ....as with yourselves, final itinerary still to be sorted!
Have a great time, we had 3 months touring in Spain this summer with the caravan. It was great adventure. Remember, in the winter months the nights can get quite chilly at night, (not like here, of course) but because the sun has been out in the day, the nights feel colder. We have just come back from our home in Torrevieja, warm in the day, but cold at night. Take some fleeces with you. But most important, have a great time.
Regards
Cindy

G & T, if you were offering
Montendre (near) for Easter time....when temperatures should be rising a bit....
Check "meteo" on a website for daily temperatures for where you are going - not going to be hot....but warmer than UK! And yes - very cold at night. Take your thermals - even if you sleep in them!!
