Hi,we went to las dunas in spain last year and we stoped over night at perpignan which is just before the spanish boarder. It left only a one and a half hour drive the next day. It only took 13 hours from calais to perignan.The route we took was calais toward reims(A26) reims to troyes(A26) troyes to dijon (A31) dijon to lyon (A6) lyon to orange (A7) orange to monpellier (A9) monpellier toperpignan (A9). We are off to Argeles just past perpignan this year and we are thinking about taking the same rout unless any body can tell us of a better one.
