Who would be the person to go without a seatbelt? Would it be your child or someone else's. How would you decide? If it was your child could you afford to lose them? And would your friends mind if it was one of theirs that died? Or would it be an adult bouncing around without a seatbelt? A good big rugby-playing one should guarantee a lot of collateral damage in an accident. I mean, of course, a lot of people getting squashed.
I have said a few times, but possibly not on this forum, if I am ever the innocent victim of a car accident and a child without a seatbelt is killed or badly injured in the other car I'll sue the other driver for the distress that would cause **me**.
Thanks for all the replies. i knew my answer straight away, i was not going, but for the benefit of others, i felt i had to ask the rediculous question, and you certainly backed me up. the people concerned have now changed their point of view..cheers
