Rich - have a great trip, and hope your Mondeo is trouble free - and thanks for defending them from 'The Trolls' (whose postings seem to have disappeared, thank goodness).

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

I hope so too Val. Fingers crossed. Never say a bad word about them. I'm a Ford man through and through Always have been and always will be,(although problems do sometimes happen like anything else.).  All my other cars are Ford too. I have a '75 Granada 3 litre Ghia (sweeney type) an '85 mk2 2.8 Granada (I've had that 20 years) and a Fiesta too (that one's Ann-Marie's really). The Grannies are both taken to shows regularly.

Will look out for you Lee. Give us a shout if we don't spot you.

Thanks to everyone for your advice in various posts and wishing us a happy holiday. The same to you all and in the words of Huey Green I mean that most sincerely.

Will report back when we get home. I'm taking my Laptop so if I can get on t'internet anywhere I might even be in touch while we're there.

Only 3 and a half sleeps now. Have to go to work on Thursday then I've got Friday and Saturday to get the 'van washed and loaded etc. Then we'll leave home about 4am on Sunday morning.

Cant wait..................

Hi Rich - there's WiFi access in the bar area, not as cheap as some places we've been - but you'll get on.

Have a good one !!

(btw My wife has a Ghia X Estate in white, and I just got rid of my sentimental valued Sierra Ghia X i Auto estate. I've "gone German" now but she lets me play with the Ghia every now and again).

I've been in touch with the site and the wi-fi is a bit expensive in my view, 8 euros for an hour. (£6.30) TBH i'm personally not that bothered. I can do without it 'til I get back. It's more my eldest...........15 and in love, wanting to get on MSN to his girlfriend.

There's not many Mk2 Granadas about in white but guess what my Mk2 is in white too and is an estate, How spooky is that. Mine is actually a GL though but over the years it's become a Ghia. Next mod for next year is a set of Mk 3 Granada Cosworth wheels. They're refurbed and have new tyres and are ready to go on. Don't want to sound like a boy racer though, looks original otherwise. I've got a cabinet full of trophies. My Mk1 is silver with a black vynil, roof There was six pages of pictures of it in the July issue of Retro-Ford magazine, they used it to do a Buyer Guide feature. Have a look at our website....www.granadazone.com

Can't wait to get away now. Went and picked the van up from the storage compound this morning, it's all washed in the Driveway and nearly all loaded now. Will finish putting clothes etc in tommoz.

Thanks for your good wishes

regards
