Hi Snuggles
Here's the bad penny back. The CC lot are usually a quiet bunch, and at that time you are out of the school hols so mainly the clientele are retired hooligans. Like Marz says, the site is a large area, and if you "want to be alone" there will be pitches available to choose from when you arrive. If they all go for a meal one night, then i would give the resto a swerve on that night, but they do take - aways anyway if you were stuck. Otherwise, I doubt you would know anything was going on.
Always difficult to know what someone else likes, but certainly Le B is one of the lesser commercial sites, if you like that sort of thing. The scenery is as the web photos, the new toilet block has "baby rooms" which can be a bonus. There is a handy kids pool which is totally toddler and Mum friendly.
Don't know how adventurous you are, but I did know that Allengenealogy were stewarding, and the site owners have a toddler around 2 yrs .If you needed anything you would only have to ask. Over the years , I have had GP and dentistry services much better than any we have in UK.--Not essential, but nice to know it exists. We have been going for many years, and have brought our grandkids up there from 6 mths on, and we are still going back , so it can't be that bad
Just one of many sites in the area, and as they say " There are other providers available"

It is only the serviced pitches which are full(Water, waste and electric) The ordinary camping pitches are still available.

Hi S
We are away for the weekend in darkest Yorks but if you do want to contact Le B, I'm afraid they are notoriously bad at returning e - mails even though they do read them. I have looked at the booking forms and like Marz has said, the only fulls are the serviced pitches (grand comfort), and there are only 2 of those anyway, so there are no flups otherwise, no doubt sign of the times, but good if you are going and like peace and quiet. Virtually all pitches have electrics. As I predicted earlier, you will be able to make a choice when you arrive, although obviously restricted. If you have preferences eg if you look at the web photos, photo 9/23 the blue tent is on pitch P1 right next to the kiddies pool, 10/23 the blue tent is on P2 top of the hill with the best views, evening sun, and a direct line to the wc's. If size matters, V14 or 15 are massive. Even if you ask for a pitch, out of season you could swop when you arrive if you preferred elsewhere.
If you did want try for a particular pitch, best to give them a ring at around 6/7 pm our time as they will be working on site during the day -------theoretically., and don't worry about using French, Raph and his partner Jess speak English ( see photo 21/23-------- when they were young Ah bless !)
