Theres loads of sites in Argeles to choose from. All depends what sort of holiday your looking at. We like to be near the beach and find Le Soleil ideal. As for an overnight stop near Clermont F, Camping de la Filature, Ebreuil is recommended

Only ever been to Argeles-sur-Mer, the once, did the Dover crossing, then an overnight at Blois, followed by another at Carcassonne, that was back in 1990, so there are better quicker ways now, the journey back was a different story, due to the Cambelt breaking on my 12 month old Cavalier at the time, when we pulled up at the peage, just past Lyon, thank the Lord for AA 5 Star cover, which paid for all the repairs plus 3 nights in a very nice hotel, me the Mrs, young Son plus the two Grandparents!, happy days!.

We did the journey back from Argeles-Sur-Mer in a oner arriving back yesterday. Worst part of the journey by far was Dover to the North-East. Welcome back to clogged up roads and loads of roadworks 17

The M25 is a nightmare. Set of to Perpignan 3 weeks ago and got stuck in a 7 mile jam for the Dartford crossing. Arrived back in England yesterday and a 3 mile jam for the crossing. The southbound M11 & M25 looked really bad yesterday. Advise anyone setting off for Dover to set off early.
