I bow to both your experiences in hot climes with a caravan ... though, never had a heat problem with our FC ... just zip out the whole of the front and it's open to the air.
We've stopped at aires etc for one nighters ... just clamber over the gear inside without a problem ... we've removed the fold down cupboard, as it gives more storage space ... so don't shift anything into the car.
Whatever you choose ... you'll have a ball!
