Have seen quite a few sites using a normal 'pan', be it inside or outside, for dumping purposes.

How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?

Yep - in fact in the older sanitaires at Baie de Aunis in the Vendee the one in the ladies is actually an old 'squat' toilet - had to be careful to avoid splashing feet! Apparently it's a proper 'vidange' in the gents. I suggested it's because it's a man's job....
Hi,
Les Sablons at Portiragnes Plage will have pitches with private bathrooms next year; we’ve been offered with or without as our option, should be interesting!

Stayed at Camping Les Terrasses
2 Rue De Rouen,Igoville,Normandy
for a night in July 2018.
It was wet and perhaps unfair to asses this very quiet and rather old site. very economic
The site is built into the side of the hill and the rather small pitches with their separate washrooms cut into the slope. Mostly filled with static caravans.
Here's my Vango Pulsar 3 and car filling the pitch, no room for end guylines:
Your photo link doesn't work. Did you have a pitch with private facilities? If so I'll add the site to my list - but I've heard rather poor recommendations of the site, and even one couple who drove away without staying. (We met them in a service station and made an alternative suggestion).
It worked for me, and I had a good five minutes of fun putting it together.

Fitting in tent and car:
The roadway is narrow so the car cannot overhang the road or other campers cannot get past.
There are banks with mature tree growing in them to the left and right of the pitch and a three feet of growth narrowing the pitch at each side of the banks.
The Vango Pulsar 300 tent has an extended flysheet so there was no room for the tent sideways at the back of the pitch, the car is an estate so too long to fit end on in front of the facilities.
It was raining when I arrived and I was tired having driven up from Camping Municipal in Allencon on zero visibility motorways. I put car and tent in where they would fit, without using end guy lines.
I think madam gave me a really small pitch although bigger, better pitches were available.
Each pitch has a toilet and washroom.
There is a new building with showers available at extra cost.
Whilst I was there I kept trying to plan how to make the campsite work better, it involved knocking down the separate facilities and opening a bar with hot food in the unused building by the gate. A bit of basic gardening would help too.
Glad you enjoyed the puzzle, here's the pitch I had at Allencon the night before:

Bram, I was just thinking out loud, and wasn't demanding a full on explanation of your pitch layout... but thanks anyway!
I absolutely love the fact that you sat re-designing the site, even if only in your head. I have previously wondered if I was the only one to do this, so I'm pleased to see I'm not alone!!

Hello. New to this site so I apologise if this question has been answered elsewhere...
Does anybody have a list of UK sites that have ‘private’ or ‘en suite’ bathrooms?
Thanks Gary
Gary, please put your question again in the UK section instead of this Overseas section and someone there may be able to help you. The only one I know in the UK is MonkeyTree Holiday Park at Newquay, Cornwall, but I think there will be others.
