Can't believe it is 2 years since I posted on this thread and, therefore, went to Puy Do Fou.   Where does time go ?

3 years since I went - going this year though.

The only one we tried last time was "Le rendez-vous des ventres faims" (meeting place of hungry tummies ) which is the outdoor eatery in the middle of the parc. Simple French food, jambon frites, entrecote frites, etc. Was OK for us. There is an undercover area.
Not tried any of the posher restaurants.

We had a meal in the Medieval Restaurant at the end of the day opening of the park but before the evening cinescene started.  Had to book when we arrived in the morning - bit of a queue - would be good if you could book remotely at say a self service kiosk like Disney or even online.

Food was great - can't remember exactly what we had but it included a starter, big pieces of chicken, salad etc and a sweet plus wine/soft drinks. It was all efficiently served to large tables on a help yourself basis.  The great thing was that although the kids paid a reduced price their meal was the same size as ours.  There was even Medieval entertainment while you ate.

Look what you've done now - got me thinking about going to France !  We're supposed to be camping in the UK this year to save money for skiing at Xmas.

Hi Lisa

Im in the same boat and cant decide if its worthwhile splitting the day and the evening into to two trips as we have a 6 and 4 year old. Also should I book now? WE are goin on 7th August for two weeks.
