We were put off France early this year due to the poor exachange rate and the ferry price increases ( possibly due the poor exchange rate)
But we saw the out look for cornwall weather wise and thought sod it and booked late to France.
Speaking to the campsite we stayed at, her site has less English visitors this year which would suggest despite caravan sales booming more people chose to stay in the UK this year possibly due to the exchange rate.
There was certainly less UK cars driving round the Vendee also we noticed so did not appear to be isolated to the site we stayed at.
Diesel is now on par with the UK, as those who go to france will know some foods a very expenisve compared to the Uk eg Chicken breasts obviously these now become 15% even more expensive compared to last year.
Still booked to go next year though lol
