I think now is the time for Ireland to become it's own country, forget the history, and let Dublin be the capital, no border required job done, or am I missing something.

Also with Scotland and Gibraltar wanting to stay part of the EU, it seems crazy for the Brexit thing to happen.

Let's work with the other 27 EU countries, and make for a better continent, why let 40 years of work go down the pan.

And whilst we are at it, ditch the £, and adopt the €, and start driving on the Right, the future is bright!

Close on two million Scots voted to leave the EU and only 2/3rd's of the population (5.3 million )actually bothered to vote , dont believe for one minute the SNP speak for all of Scotland because they most certainly do not and there still a minority government who have fell out of favour with many .

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

Of those that did vote, the overwhelming majority voted remain. Don't count non voters as anything other than non voters. As for a minority Government... The de hondt voting system in Scotland is designed to create coalition governments. The SNP actually managed to get a majority in a system designed to stop that.
I see you live in God's country. I would like to return to an independent country, God willing...

Think you need to read up on Ireland's history to see why it would not work.

Demographics is on Ireland's side. Another twenty years and the unionists will be in the minority. Whether Ireland wants an impoverished North is another matter. Most in the south don't want them. Too much baggage and too little money.

Well, I'm finding it refreshing that this discussion hasn't been curtailed yet, given the importance of the issue to the subject of camping and caravanning abroad.

There's a list of outstanding matters that have been raised here that we have yet to have answered:
Visas, probably not (but possibly)
Pet passports, inoculation, quarantine
Currency arrangements, exchange rates
Number plates, trailer and caravan immatriculation
Waits at crossings, freight queues
Insurance validity, continuation of reciprocal contracts, court jurisdiction in case of disputes

At the moment I do not have the confidence to make any kind of plan for after March, until more clarity emerges. It might all be alright in the end, but I've got a bad feeling about all of this.

I think we'll probably not receive important information until after the deadline, same as the referendum...

Some people just cannot help themselves, so therefore closing due to this being political.

Cheers Ratty
