I have never been "on" the tunnel, but security and terrorism has concerned me. I drove my MH onto a boat this summer with no checks at all - it would be a job to check it for anything that shouldn't be there - onboard tanks etc.

However, on board a boat one has a chance. I dread to think what would happen in a tunnel (Mont Blanc and that was just a fire?) if an attack was to happen!

I agree with Jims comments. It would simply be a disaster.

Lets hope and pray that these religious nutters don't ever, ever target the tunnel

It seems the main target is USA and anything connected with it.  By targetting the tunnel terrorists would be involving French as well as UK governments, in fact most european nations would be involved I imagine as the passengers are not only french and english.

I am using the tunnel shortly so lets hope that it remains off the radar.
