Tried the phoneline again before 8pm and got through only to get another message saying that their call centre is not staffed due to the weather.
Might be better going in person!!!!
If everyone did that could you imagine the queue?

Hi Grumbleflick,

Best way to use your Tesco vouchers ( for Euro-Tunnel) is to check with Euro-Tunnel website, the cost for your travel  dates and times, submit your vouchers for the right amount or just under and settle short-fall by CCard.

It says in the TESCO terms & Conditions :- " Unused & In-date tokens can be returned to us for a points refund" (Be aware though, that you may not get 4X points back, because of the rate change.

Hope this helps.

Andy.

The above may be correct, but I think Tesco are falling apart at the seams at the moment. My Tunnel vouchers rec'd state in Terms and Conditions, Tunnel vouchers "cannot be refunded"  and "no change will be given if the voucher exceeds the fare.

Recent transactions with Tesco using the 2 for 1 points uplift, and ordering wine on line, have resulted in non delivery of orders, non acceptance of vouchers, Phone calls are out of the question, and e - mails get a " generic response" which is less than useless. It is only 2 December so "Heaven help Christmas rush". Hence the " falling apart at the seams".

Personnally I would register your voucher exchange before the closing date, but be prepared for a bit of hassle if the response goes astray. no doubt normal service will be resumed after Christmas.

Best of luck

FM

All the above a bit prophetic. Latest respomse says "on line " is set to 3 x but if you got caught in the rush, send in your vouchers to claim a 4 x swop, plus 2 for ones will be recredited on application in February.

Hope Wikileaks don't target Tesco, jobs done for them I reckon.

I think Tesco have been suffering from a problem they had with another promotion, something to do with doubling the value of Club Card vouchers for some purchases which along with the weather has thrown them into chaos. I e-mailed on another subject and received a most strange reply. I sent back asking for them to answer my original message and then yesterday evening had a phone call from them apologising and giving me the answer I needed. So perhaps there is a need to give them a bit of space over the next few days.

Another round of applause for Mr Tesco.
Received the ferry vouchers this morning, that I had been going to convert my November vouchers to, before they got somehow converted to airmiles.
Still no explanation as to how this happened, but I dont really care, now it is sorted out.
Just booked ferry for France next August.
