You won't be able to load them on to the Alan Rogers Travel Card - that's purely a British thing and won't be recognised on the French website but you could apply for the free Camping Cheques Silver Card which you would be able to use on the French website - and then take advantage of the £1 saving per cheque!

There seems ti be so many places to look now for deals.

I have only used acsi before

Just dug out the AR stuff that was sent and went and looked at perks and camping indigo on noirmoutier has 5% off pitches in high season which is a place we had picked to stay, so better than a kick in the teeth. I presume I dont have to have any AR cheques, just show the card?

I have now sent for the free silver card for camping cheques.

So I now have 3 places to go and look at to see what deals are on where.

Just noticed soliel plage is in the perks list too, which I had just stayed at! On Site Activities
Free minigolf or tennis in low season
On Site Catering
One free drink with the first meal ordered at the restaurant

It all gets compulsive, looking for 'deals' or good campsites are bargain prices. There are many other schemes now, as well as the ones we're all familiar with. Franceloc, Aquaticamp, FlowerCamping and loads more. A recent French caravan magazine listed them all, and there are some even I hadn't heard of!

We've just booked for Croatia for NEXT year - something we never do - because we saw that Roan.nl are offering some incredible bargains in ready-erected tents and mobiles - so in May next year we're in a tent for two weeks, for £106 or £7.57 per night - cheaper, by far, than taking the caravan! And we never normally book anything but this was a deal definitely waiting to be bagged!
