just priced my crossing on the caravan club and it was 910.00 - and height does cost more as well as length! was cheaper to go direct with BF and no discounts!!
That's interesting Sue. From what I can see, all this cornflake packet coupon malarkey is more often found on the eastern crossings, where the competition is greater.
We're delighted with our booking for next year

My advice is worth no more than the price paid for it
i live in Leicester and opted for the Dover Calais crossing with sea France or my ferry.com cost us 200 quid round trip for me wife and 3 kids with a large 6 berth caravan on august 10th everything went well till we hit the first toll and the ques were terrible then at Le harve again ques for 1.5 hours for the bridge and arrived at campsite les 2 fontaines in nevez at 10.30pm we drove off the ferry at 11.15 on the way back we drove over night and it was straight through
Hi was reading you review etc as we liked the look of les 2 fontaines, like yourself we have a large 6 berth caravan and i got a price for £580 for the portsmouth/caen ferry with only 3.5 hours driving the other side.......do you think its worth it after your experiance or should i go dover calais ? Was also thinking of booking camp direct as it seem alot cheeper, really sorry to bother you any advice would be helpful. MARK
