Completely understand about the road and little ones.
We'd just us, and grown up DD for a week, and actually thought that although the site didn't have a shop, it was the best catered for of any site we'd visited, UK or France.
Right opposite, good general store for milk etc, a great boucherie/charcuterie, and a fantastic boulangerie/patisserie. And a take away gaff round the back.
We'd go for the ablutions then get the days provisions. Brilliant. It might as well have been the site's own, where it is. I'd bet 90% of customers would be Capeyrou campers.
Very impressed with the historic dockyard. We'd actually only booked for the Mary Rose, as we'd to drive back home, but we were in that little caff looking wistfully at Warrior whilst we waited for our slot, and a kindly dear on the desk let us go through gratis!
Loved it. We could have spent the day there, easily
