the more I look at the site the more I like it. Have you seen that zip wire across some of the lake?

"A" area with electric for me, only booked and left deposit this afternoon, no pitch number yet, looks a big site.

Have you checked the surrounding area yet, looks plenty to do on site.

Whereabouts where you pitched at l'etang last year.

We were pitched right up at the very top right corner of the main touring field - it was a HUGE pitch, room for two caravans at least!

I'm loving the look of Chalain - we're not planning on doing much touring in the area as we won't have oodles of money to spare - we are hoping for good weather so we can have lots of bbq's with our friends and spend most of our time by/on the lake.

We'll be there 18th July - 1st Aug.

Got my confirmation through this morning pitch A107, Zone A, Bach Street.

Definetely a nice site in a nice area.Couple of cheap trips out would be Harrision falls,good walk there and the citadel at Bescacon.

Anyway....up to 1.11 today. I'd sort of told myself that if it got up to 1.20 to the pound, I'd buy a stash of Euros to keep under my mattress LOL!

Yes I see the euro has risen - bargain! We changed our site/ferry due to the exchange rate to a site within our budget - any improvement in the exchange rate will be a plus!
