To be fair AK1972, we don't even think about the exchange rate, and we have not bought € cash before going on holiday for years.
For the amount of € cash we go through on a 3 week holiday to France each July, the fluctuation in rates makes little difference.
We just get whatever the rate is on the day whilst we are there.
We use the N&P Gold Classic account exclusively for holiday € cash use, and for those in London Metro Bank offers an even better deal.
