Does that sound correct ? If so Croatia could become the go to destination for Brit long termers next year at least. Croatia does have an intention to join Schengen though so after that visits will be included in the 90 day period presumably ?

That is assuming the 90 day rule is enforced. To enforce it your passport would need to be stamped & then checked on exit. If passport is not stamped on entry then presumably one could risk staying longer. All work in progress I guess ?

Another little snippet. If one of a married couple can claim citizenship of an EU country then under an EU directive on right to a family life the other partner can stay in EU with them with no time limit.

That actually applies to me. I’m not sure if I want Hungarian citizenship though.

Car insurance will supply separate Green cards for car & caravan free but apparently can only be sent by post ie not downloaded & printed.

Mine came through from Saga just a few days after I renewed my insurance this month & are valid for the period of the cover.

Hi Katy. You tell your car insurer make & model of caravan you will get a separate green card for your specific caravan. Saga were right on top of this but other insurers might be less so.

Reason your car insurance has to do this is to confirm their third party cover on your caravan while being towed.
