That 'rocado' means ring road!

Took us about an hour to realise what it meant when we couldn't get onto the Bordeaux ring road having been in Lacanau!

That each time you visit France it gets easier to understand the language.

Croissants only taste fab fresh that morning! pre packed from Super U or where ever or from England not a patch.

The cheapy wines and chilled fruit beers al fresco just dont taste the same back home either.

You can never find a quick way through Rouen. The sat nav keeps telling us to turn around at the first opportunity on the big bridge in the middle of Rouen. Like we are really going to turn back to Calais when we are looking forwards to the beach!
