We are planning a trip to Burgundy in June.    Have looked at campsite search and found Camping des deux rivieres at Etang sur Arroux.  Looks nice situated between two rivers.  Has anybody been - no reviews on yet!  Or can anyone recommend a nice quiet site with views of rivers or lakes, with shady plots and decent facilities and near the Morvan area and canals for some light cycling - not asking for much, eh

Etang sur Arroux site is listed in the ACSI book, and website, which means you can obtain a small reduction by using an ACSI card.  If you're staying for more than a week, then it's probably worth while buying the guide.  Haven't actually stayed there - when we've been in Burgundy we've stayed at Lac de Panthier, at Vandenesse, which we like - especially since they added the new reception and restaurant, plus indoor pool.  There's good cycling around though, and a view of the lake (reservoir actually).   The toilet blocks deliver good hot showers, with a really powerful flow, and the pitches are big.  Those nearest the new reception, especially overlooking the lake, are lovely.
