We are booked on this site for two weeks in August and wondered what to expect. I guess it must be ok as it always gets booked up early?

We have been to St Jean de Monts before but I think we are a bit further down this time. Can anyone recommend places to go, things to do etc. in this area or give us any thoughts on the campsite please.

My friend went there last year and was helped a great deal by the management when his car broke down.

We went in 2005 and are going again this year in the middle of August so will probably see you there. We found that the site is very child friendly and the kids seem to mix in well. There are a number of Keycamp, Eurocamp pitches and also some private ones. There is a lake which you can hire a canoe and go on, tennis courts, football pitches, table tennis tables, small shop, small arcade, restaurant, take away, swimming pool is okay.

 Rather than me ramble on if you want to email me on graeme at gsimpson3.fsnet.co.uk then I can answer any questions you may have. Suffice to say we fully enjoyed it but the one down side can be the unpredictable weather.

Had a walk round the very nice and well maintained site 2 weeks ago

Staff / management very friendly

Caterpillar infestation saw a booking from acquaintance transferred to another campsite recently/

Should be cleared up by August
