I do have a soft spot for Belguim, nice people and many intresting places to visit.Ive camped there on numerous occasions mainly in The Ardennes region but the north coastal areas are still good especially if you have kids.
I enjoyed staying at Nieuwpoort on the north cost, good facilities(excellent pool and slides) even though you have to wear rubber hats and trunks of course,Restaurant is very good value aswell.www.kompascamping.be I think.
The Gent site, although its a few years since I stayed has much to recommend it not least of which is the large pitches surrounded by hedges and the excellent selection of beers in the bar.
Ive also enjoyed staying at st michels behind a bistro in Brugge, excellent location but the site gets very very crowded during peak times.
