Hi all great site ..with summer coming we are looking to buy a new caravan and go to spain ive read that u can go this way

calais-reims-troyes-dijon-lyon-orange-beziers-perpignan-tarragona?...ive done a map from my address to spain nothern , and it's says 71 euros in tolls?. is that right or is the way above cheaper..thanks...

your route is the most straightforward--I guess the toll is class1 ie car--car/caravan is class2 so somewhat dearer--there are cheaper ways with less toll roads but more hills & going thru Paris--

Have a look here www.viamichelin.co.uk put in your details and it will come up with a route, fuel costs and toll costs. I think your toll costs of €71 are way out. It will be more than €100 for that distance and remember to double that for your return.

Hi Spears

I have been asking the same questions here recently as we are off to spain (tamarit park) this summer.I have done various routes and costings but as yet not put my finger on the eventual winner.

Have you thought of Northern Italy.Really good Adriatic beaches.

Hi all thanks for advice great site, i would love to get away this year but still looking for a van still , got a budget around 1000 pounds and still cant find one...everything ive seen r rubbish....any ideas...want to see if we like it first then if we do get a better one next yr or maybe this year,,,

Hi spears..we are selling our van its an ABI Sunstar circa 1990 5 berth.If you are interested I can email you pictures. We are looking for £1500. We have used this van with no problems and in fact have just returned from a 10 day break in europe, she tows well and comes with an Bradcot awning, hot water 12/240v. I can give you more info if you need it.
